Fish fish fish

We are here today at the Arkansas River watching the Bassmasters Diamond Drive tournament, final day. There are twelve anglers out today, battling for first place. We got to the water this morning and immediately saw the legend, KVD. I made Derrick take me over for a picture.



Then we moved on down the river to see KVD's nephew, Jonathan VanDam. He's a rookie with a good chance to win. Now, right beside JVD is Denny Brauer. Drama in the making!! JVD has been fishing the same spot since Thursday, witnessed by Derrick and Michael. Denny started up the river on Thursday, then later moved down on JVD. Denny claims JVD moved in on his spot. "Not true!" claims Derrick and Michael. We will be here supporting JVD until the end of the day. Exciting, I tell you.

In the boat with JVD is Mark Zona. He is an analyst for Bassmasters, and he has Zona's Awesome Fishing Show. I met Zona in 2009, great guy! He's enthusiastic, interesting, and tons of fun!!
